Junior Algo Trader

Main responsibilities:  ⁃ Help oversee the firm’s risk originating from systematic market making business;  ⁃ Use statistical techniques to analyze, measure, and optimize electronic trading strategies;  ⁃ Acquire, clean, maintain and analyze data sets to identify trends & patterns;  ⁃ Understanding and analyzing market microstructure while incorporating findings into the trading strategies market;  ⁃ Studying different parameters, identify impact on pricing and hedging to drive strategic improvements.   Preferred Qualifications & Mindset: – At least 2 years of experience in a trading department of a financial institution; – Proficiency in Python. Java & C# are a plus; – Intellectually curious, with a desire to learn new skills; – Ability to work at a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple daily tasks and deadlines; – Ability to communicate effectively within your team and with other teams; – Ability to share new knowledge and skills with the team.
