Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Expert to join our team for a 3-month gig in Greece. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring employees of the company and investigating a potential fraud incident. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the company's operations. 2. Monitor employee activities and behaviors to detect any suspicious or fraudulent activities. 3. Investigate potential fraud incidents, gathering evidence and conducting interviews as necessary. 4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, legal, and management teams, to address security concerns and mitigate risks. 5. Implement security protocols and measures to prevent future incidents and protect company assets. 6. Provide recommendations for improving security practices and policies based on findings and observations. 7. Maintain accurate records of investigations and findings, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in cybersecurity and digital forensics, with a focus on fraud investigation. 3. Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices. 4. Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and forensic software. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure. 6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 8. Fluency in English is required; additional languages, especially Greek, are a plus.
